A stand-to-pee device, or STP, is a shaped funnel that sits against your body and channels flow forward through a short spout. It lets you use a urinal or stand at the toilet.

How it works

The cup side presses gently against the body to create a seal. The spout points forward and down. Our STPs have a gentle curve that follows the body, which helps the seal, and a realistic, life-like look.

Practice first

• Start in the shower. It takes the pressure off while you find the right angle.
• Then try at the toilet at home, sitting at first, then standing.
• Go slowly at the start of the stream until the seal feels right.

Positioning tips

• Press the cup up and slightly back, and keep the spout angled down.
• Relax your hips. Tension usually breaks the seal.

Cleaning and carrying

Rinse after each use and wash with warm water and mild soap when you get home. A small zip pouch or a spare sock keeps it clean and discreet in a bag or pocket.

TPE or silicone

Both are latex free and waterproof. TPE is softer and squishier; silicone is firmer and very easy to clean. Each comes in three shades.
