After transition
Toys after transition.
Bodies change during transition, and so does what feels good. There’s no wrong place to start. These are practical starting points, not rules.
- After surgery: wait until your surgeon clears you, then start small, soft and slow with plenty of water-based lube.
- With growth on testosterone: small external vibrators, suction toys and stroker-style sleeves tend to fit well.
- If you have both, or you’re not sure: look for internal, external or both, and compare sizes with something you already use.
- For everyone: water-based lube with silicone, clean before and after, stop if anything hurts.
Questions
When can I use toys after surgery?
Only once your surgeon clears you. Your care team knows your timeline best, so ask them anything.
What works with growth on testosterone?
Small external vibrators, suction toys and stroker-style sleeves. Go by size and shape, not the label on the box.
What lube should I use?
Water-based lube works with every material, including silicone.
What if something hurts?
Stop. Go smaller, go slower, and check with your care team if it continues.
