- Thrusting and tapping: a shaft that moves in and out, or a head that taps.
- Rotating: beads or a whole shaft that turns and twirls.
- Suction and grinding: pulses of suction, or a pad to ride.
- Dual: two motors, two places, controlled separately.

Questions
What does a thrusting vibrator do?
The shaft moves in and out on its own, so you don't have to. Most also vibrate, and the two can run together or separately.
What is the difference between tapping and vibrating?
Vibration is a fast, even buzz. Tapping is a slower, distinct knock against one spot, closer to a fingertip than a hum.
What is a dual stimulation toy?
A toy with two motors that reach two places at once, internal and external or two internal. On most Gender X dual toys each motor has its own controls.
Which toys work hands-free?
Anything with a remote, a wearable shape or a suction-cup base. The hands-free page collects all of them.
